Importing a batch of Final Draft scripts into WattWenn (HE only)

English is the only language supported on WattWenn Import at this time.
Contact WattWenn if you need to use another language.

Note: in the text window, you can edit in any missing INT/EXT, Times of Day etc.


1. Final Draft: Export the scripts as .rtf (rich text files)

2. WattWenn Import:

import batch 1


2.1 type the episode id;
2.2 type the episode length;
2.3 click in Pages OR Mins Secs box;
2.4 click on Select File

3. click on the episode Final Draft .rtf script;
click on Import

4. type the project name;
select where the project will be (Desktop etc.).

5. type in the new episode id;
click on Select File;
click on the episode Final Draft .rtf script;
click on Import;
repeat until all the episodes are imported.

6. click on Export;
type in the project name.

 

WattWenn: Importing the file of FD scripts

1. click on File;
click on New.

2. type in the project name;
select where the project will be (Desktop etc.);
click on Save.

3. Strips Window: click on Script Order.

4. Script Order Window: click on Scene Tools.

5. click on Import Scenes (from wwExport file).

6. click on Insert Scenes.

7. click on file name;
click on Import.

All the scenes from the batch of scripts are in WattWenn below a blank scene.

 

Script Order Window: Removing the blank scene

1. click in the blank scene;
click on Scene Tools;
click on Remove Scenes.

2. to confirm: click on Remove Scenes.

3. click in the Script Order Window (leaving Removed Scenes Area).
