Set Dates
Set Date Range for Diary
Adding a week or two both ends of the date range for filming is usually enough. You can always add on to the end if necessary - if the start date for filming is put back, start a new Diary (see below). The fewer dates in the Diary, the less time spent scrolling to add availabilities of cast etc.
Start Date: Click on the arrows(1) until you have the month and year;
( hold down the cursor to speed through the months )
Click on the date;
End Date: Click on the arrows(2) until you have the month and year;
Click on the date.
Auto Set Working Days
Click in the boxes of the days for the working week(3) to select/deselect;
Click on Apply.
Add Working Days
Click on the Date;
Click on Working day button(4).
Delete Working Day
for public holidays etc.
Click on the Date;
Click on NON working day button(5).
Select Shooting Day 1
Click on a Working day;
Click on Shooting Day 1 button(6).
Note: Shooting Day numbers will update with any Add/Delete of Working days.
Show/Hide Dates in Current Schedule
Click on Show Dates in Current Schedule button(7)
OR Click on Hide Dates in Current Schedule button.
Add Dates to new Schedule
Click in Hide Diary Tools box(8) (to untick it);
Click on the schedule;
Click on Show dates in selected schedule button(9).
Hide Dates in a Schedule
Click in Hide Diary Tools box(8) (to untick it);
Click on the schedule;
Click on Hide dates in selected schedule button(10).
Add new Diary
If the dates (and availabilities of cast etc.) for the new Diary overlap with the Current Diary, use Duplicate Current Diary, then change the date range. Then the useful entries from the Current Diary will be in the new Diary.
Click in Hide Diary Tools box(8) (to untick it);
Click in the name field(11);
Type the new Diary name;
Click on the button for EITHER New Empty Diary OR Duplicate Current Diary.
Delete Current Diary
Click in Hide Diary Tools box(8) (to untick it);
Click on the button.
