Schedule (Strips) Window - Overview
Moving around the Schedule
Scroll
fn-(down arrow) - page down
fn-(up arrow) - page up
command-(down arrow) - end of schedule
command-(up arrow) - top of schedule
Sorts: click-click on shooting day;
Schedule: shows selected scene.
Schedule
Add Schedule
Click on Schedule, Click on Add Schedule;
Type in new schedule name;
Tab to OR click in Short name field;
Type in 3 or 4 letter short name (shown in DooD);
Click on New Empty or New Duplicate (try changes from the current schedule).
Delete Current Schedule
Click on Schedule, Click on Delete Schedule;
Return or Click on OK.
Change Schedule
Click in Schedule Name field;
Click on Schedule.
Strips Background Colors
3 alternatives to switch between:
Default: INT-Day White; EXT-Day Yellow; INT-Night Green; EXT-Night Blue;
Black text on single background color;
Black text on white.
Click on diamond(1) to switch between alternatives.
Change default background colors
Click on WattWenn (title bar), Click on Preferences;
Click on Strips Colors;
Click on color to be changed(2);
Select color from menus;
Click on Apply.
Add background color to another Time of Day
Click on WattWenn (title bar), Click on Preferences;
Click on Strips Colors;
Click on menu(3);
Click on Time of Day;
Click in box for INT, EXT or I/E;
Select color from menus;
Click on Apply.
Strips with single background color
Click on diamond(1).
Change default single background color
Click on WattWenn (title bar), Click on Preferences;
Click on Highlight Colors;
Click on Background color(4);
Select color from menus;
Click on Apply.
Strips in Black and White
Click on diamond(1).
Return to default background colors
Click on diamond(1).

Schedule Length
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Schedule Length;
Type in Schedule Length (max 500 days);
Return or Click on Apply.
Day Notes - Start Times
Where to add sunrise, sunset and any header, footer notes to your schedule. Start Times + Production Times for scenes + timed banners (meals, moves etc.) can give the timing for the Shooting Day.
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Day Notes - Start Times;
In panel, Day Notes: Click on the Shooting Day number(1);
EITHER Click in Start of Day(2), type notes;
AND/OR Click in End of Day(3), type notes.
In panel, Shooting Start Time (shown in schedule if Scene Shoot Times ticked):
Click on the Shooting Day number(1);
Click in Hours field(4), type in the start hour;
Tab to or Click in Mins field, type in minutes;
Click on ‘Apply to selected day’ OR ‘ Apply to all days’.
Days - Add
For when you want to add several days in one go - otherwise use Empty Days.
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Days - Add;
EITHER - Add Days BEFORE Selected Day
Click on Shooting Day(5);
Tab to or Click in Number of Days box(6), Type in number;
Return or Click on Add.
OR - Add Days at END of schedule
Click in Number of Days box(7), Type in number;
Click on Add.
Days - Delete
For when you want to delete several empty days in one go - otherwise use Empty Days.
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Days - Delete;
EITHER if Only Empty Days Selectable is ticked(8), days with scheduled scenes will NOT select
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select Empty days ;
Click on Delete selected shooting days.
OR Click in Only Empty Days Selectable box(8) (so NOT ticked);
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select Empty days AND days with scheduled scenes ;
Click on Delete selected shooting days.
Banner - Delete
Click on Banner;
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Banner - Delete;
Return or Click on Delete.
Selected Scenes (tools)
Schedule
Moves selected scenes to another shooting day.
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Schedule;
Type in Shooting Day number (to move the scenes to);
Return or Click on Apply.
Unschedule
Removes selected scenes from the current schedule.
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Unschedule;
Return or Click on Unschedule Scenes.
Mark Shot
So all the shot scenes are easy to see. Scenes NOT SHOT can be shown as a Sort for further scheduling.
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Mark Shot.
Mark NOT Shot
For scenes needing reshooting.
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Mark NOT Shot.
Show Sortboard Browser 1 / Show Sortboard Browser 2
Add scenes from Sortboards to the Schedule.
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Show Sortboard Browser 1 or Show Sortboard Browser 2;
Sortboard Browser:
Click on Sortboard if not shown(1);
Click in group header/footer or Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Drag and Drop into the Shooting Day in the Schedule.
Copy Scenes to Browser 1 / Copy Scenes to Browser 2 from Schedule
Click, Shift-Click and Command-Click to select scenes;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Show Sortboard Browser 1 or Show Sortboard Browser 2;
Click on Sortboard if not shown;
Click on Selected Scenes, Click on Copy Scenes to Browser 1 or Copy Scenes to Browser 2.
(Schedule) Layout
Click on Layout)(1) to open.
Default Layout:
Synopsis (shown in Strips); 2 line Strips (expand to multi-line with other layout options selected);
Day Banners: Start and End(of day, with date, number of pages or mins/secs); white text, black background.
Options: Cast IDs (instead of Role Names);
Scene Shoot Times (shows start and end time for shooting scene - start time for shooting day/ production times for all scenes must be set);
Prod. Times - shots (shows production time and number of shots set for scene, timing for Shooting Day);
Show Unscheduled (shows unscheduled scenes at end of schedule);
Show Sort (shows scenes in the schedule in red which are in the current sort);
Synopsis (shows synopsis in 2 line strip);
Script Day (shows Script Day/Time in multi-line strip format);
V.O. Roles (adds V.O. Roles to scenes in schedule);
Width (Click on the middle mark if Empty Days Cut is not shown);
One Line Strips (use with Cast IDs as only shows top Role Name);
Day Banners - End only (default - Start and End);
Day Banners - Black (text) on White (background).
Click in box to select / deselect an option;
Click on Close when selections are finished.
(Schedule) Banners
Click on Banners(1);
Click on Shooting Day(2);
Click in the text field(3), Type in Banner text;
Click on background colour(4);
EITHER Return or Click on Add New Banner;
OR Click on Banner in Schedule, Click on Update Selected.
Click on Clear All for new Banner.
Click on Close to exit.
Add current Banner to another Shooting Day
Click on Shooting Day(2);
Return or Click on Add New Banner.
Add Production Time to Banner
Hours: Double-Click in box(5), Type number;
Minutes: Tab to or Double-Click in box, Type number;
Click in Timed Banner box.
Production Time for Banner will be added to timing for Shooting Day.
Select Layout Option Prod. Times to show timing in Schedule.
Moving a Banner in the Schedule
Click on Banner to select it;
Drag and Drop it.
Delete Banner
Click on Bannner in Schedule to select it;
Click on Schedule Tools, Click on Banner - Delete;
Return or Click on Delete.
(Schedule) Empty Days
To add/delete several days at a time, use Schedule Tools, Days - Add / Days - Delete.
Add Empty Day
Click in Shooting Day in Schedule;
Click on Add above or Add below(1), until the number of days are added.
Cut Empty Day
Click in Empty Day in Schedule;
Click on Cut(2).
(The next empty day is then selected).
